Cognito lifts for the HD trucks?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2005 Sierra HD on order (CC, LB, DA) and would like to lift the truck about 8-9". Alot of people have been recommending that I go with the Cognito 7-9" kit. Is anyone using one and if so how do you like it? Also, how is the ride quality?

I'm using a Full Throttle kit on my '02 HD. The ride can be a little bouncy (especially while towing) but I'm also using the GM Green Keys and cranked the torsion bars a little.

cognito is the best lift for an 05 hd, I have a 14in cognito lift on my 05 hd w/38x15.5 it rides perfectly level and as smooth as stock.

Hello, I've heard the same thing that Cognito is a good lift for the 05's Chevy HD's....How is the steering? I read on the Cognito website that Cognito keeps the factory steering and upper control arm geometry? Does that put any stress on the steering by keeping the factory steering? Does the kit also come with Heim joints? As far as the rear, did u put any after market leaf springs? if so what size? and did they still use a block along with the leaf spring? Please give me as much info if you can. I am leaning towards Cognito more than bullet proof.
