water wetter

i removed the dexcool and put in the good ol green stuff. i fushed the system out completely.then ran it and filled it with distilled water. after that i put in one container of purple ice and one gallon green antifreeze. it has been running cool now for a while.

I put some in mine and it did not make any difference. I think you would have to flush Dexcool out of the whole system in order for it to make a difference. Also it is only going to make it as cool, on a hot day, as your thermostat temperature.

 

I can say it is a great product as I have used it in a 67 Chevelle I used to have and even on the hottest day around here, 110 deg, it still ran at 180 deg, the temp of thermostat I had.

I have Water Wetter in my car (with the green stuff) and in my truck (with the red stuff). Both vehicles are a touch lower on the temp gauge.

 

On the car, the temp climbs when standing still (mid engine), but seems to drop more quickly after the Water Wetter once moving.
