Body kits?

I have a 1979 1/2 ton surburban 350 c.i.

with automatic transmittion. The body has rotted where the spare tire

sets.Is there a kit available wheras you can set some kind of patch

to plug the hole at least long enough to get my inpection sticker?

Over the last 3 1/2 years i have sunk about 2500.00 into front end work

and misc (Who doesn't with an oldie like mine!) So i don't want to go for major body repair right now.

I use to own a 80 GMC Suburban identical to yours and what i did with the rusted spare tire patch thing was remove the bolts and use a donor off an another Sub or use a slice of sheet metel and tac wield it on, i did that so i wont lose my tire going doing the road and also at local napa stores they sell body panel kits there kinda like gooey substances, those work too as well.
