Help! ABS Light on After Installing 4:56 Gears in

Recommended Posts

Folks:

I have tried just about everything to cure the ABS light and chimes that comes on sporadically. I have installed the Truspeed speedometer correction module (PN33003) and have the speedometer set dead on using a GPS to get the speed set just right. I have the Truspeed ABS module (PN 3400) installed.

Brakes work fine!!

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Does anyone know how to turn off the warning chimes that come through the Radio?

Regards,

Durkin :):thumbs::):flag:

Folks:

As a last mod (Ha!) I am driving from Southern California to Tilly, Alberta CANADA for a dyno tune at the hands of Lyndon Wester. Will keep you all posted as the trip unwinds.

Plan to leave on Thursday and drive from Irvine to Salt Lake City on Day 1.

Day 2 and 3 will be spent somewhere in Montana and on Sunday, Day 4 I will drive to the nearst real town of Brook, AB.

Day 5 will be spent in the garage and then I drive down to Ontario, OR to pick up a U-Haul car trailer tp haul a 1987 Pontiac Fiero back to Irvine.

Must be nuts!

That is awesome Durkin!

I've thought many times about that trip myself, I'm 4 days away too!

I not positive, but I think Lyndon has solved the 4:56 gear/ABS problem too.

Take some photo's so we can all see your truck up on his dyno!

I'm envious! :thumbs:
