Allison Transmisson Leak

I have a 2001 2500HD 8.1L that has leaked tranny fluid. I have never noticed this before, I was pulling a 16' GN with about 3000 lbs of sand. I have pulled considerable more weight without any problems. The only thing that I remember is punching it to pass a slower vehicle. Is there any type of vent that puked the fluid or do I have a major problem.

The Allison will only puke it if its overfilled. Check your fluid level close for the next little bit.

I've seen them puke some fluid when it's starting to get discolored and smells burnt along with towing and not using the tow/haul mode.I've seen it happen on a couple different trucks.

It does seem to shift hard from 3 to 4 with a load and unloaded. Is this normal? It has about 57000 miles.
