Duplicolor Scratch Fix

Today I tried to use my factory touch up paint and it was all nasty (dried up etc). So I bought the duplicolor scratch fix 2 in 1. Man this thing is awesome. It has a brush like the factory one and also a pen tip to fill in small chips. I had one small chip on my door, bed side, and on the hood. Far away you dont see the white spot anymore. Upclose you can tell it was touched up but its not a glob like the factory brush. The indigo blue (Duplicolor PN: NG GM 506, GM Paint Code 39) matches perfectly. For $4.99 it was well worth it. I give it a 10 out of 10

I got it at murrays auto. The paint code should be in the vin. They had a book at murrays that had the colors. If you know offhand what it could be for the year truck you can find it. Its nice because they had them organized by chevy, ford, import, etc.

Your paint code is found on RPO list inside your glove box, you will see a bc/cc and then a 4 digit number followed by (example 14U) contact any gm dealer with year and four digit number for code or the two digit and letter is the paint code (example).

As for the lids sticking on the bottles, try wiping lids off with finger nail polish remover or laquer thinner before putting back on.
