04 BURB WHAT REALLY WORKS

Recommended Posts

Welcome to Gm-Trucks first off!!!

As for how liud the Flowmaster exhaust will be, it all depends on which muffler you end up running. I'm guessing that you don't want anything really loud, so the 70 series would fit your application. My neighbor has an 01 Yukon XL, she's got a Spin Tech Truck/RV muffler on it, it sounds incredible. A sweet, deep rumble when you stomp on the gas, yet you hardly hear anything at cruising speeds, which is exaclty what she wanted having 2 and all.

The Flowmasters will give you a good performance gain, although the freer the flowing muffler, the better performance gains you will recieve. I personally favor the sound of Spin Tech. You may notice a 2-3 mpg improvement with one of their mufflers, and better performance at higher rpm's. A K&N intake paired w/ this will help you retain this mileage gain, and possiblyy give you slightly better mileage too. Some people notice significant gains w/ an exhaustm some don't, it just depends.

What will really help your mileage is a Wester Tune ECU, or something of the sort. You'll notice a 2-3 mpg increase right away, most likely. The performance gains are very superb, and Lyndon will tune the ECU to your specs. The best part is it's easy to install yourself!!!

For the money, I'd reccomend ordering a Spin Tech Truck/RV muffler, K&N intake, and some kind of ECU upgrade. You'll see very significant improvements with this

EDIT: no, they don't mess with your ecu. The new ecu chip will, but for the better!
