Throttle Body Swap

Yes and no.

 

The Big block uses 2"diameter bores, the SB uses a little smaller diameter (not sure of the exact dim)

The trouble is the bores in the 5.7 manifold match the smaller diameter, and to get the benifit you must remove the manifold and bore it out to 2". The connectors are a little different too and you have to play around with them. Turbo City sells a modified 5.7 TB with 2" bores that works well. That's what I used on my 91 GMC 350 with a Whipple blower.
