Explorer Pro Comp Stage I 5" lift for 04' Sierra

Hi, I finally found a lift that I think I'll be getting eventually... I'm just curious if anyone has installed or knows someone who has installed this lift. Its a 5" front and 3" rear lift (Lift Link) and I really lift the Pro Comp lift vs. the other guys' because it keeps the factory track width. I think i would run 305/70R16's but would this big of a tire really kill my mpg and whatever performance my truck had? Would 285's look too small with this kinda lift? Just curious but what does everyone think of those wheels on the lifted Sierra, they look cool but I dont think i wanna go the polished alum. route. Let me know if anyone has any ideas, here is a picture from the 4wheelparts.com site of the lift on a 4X4 Sierra.

check out the fabtech lifts, im not a big fan of procomp at all. as with any bigger tire your going to lose mpg and power, wait till you have to rotate your tires + rims, whew!

Well I'm not exactly sure when I'll put on the lift... Probably next spring when I finish school and get some more money, tools costs so much! I will deffinetly let everyone know if and when I get it though. Thanks

Not knowing what your ultimate goal for your truck is its hard to say.

 

Personally I would say go for the full drop 6" kit. but thats just IMO.

The size will grow on you alot faster than you think and you will be kicking yourself that you did not go higher in the first place.

If you feel that this will not happen to you and you think this is what you want.. Go for it.
