'service engine soon' light

i have a 1992 motor home with a chevy 454 chassis. the ses light has been coming on for a while. just recently when i was driving, it started cutting out and dying on me, also the head lights started going out , speedometer jumping around like crazy. i checked the scan codes and got a 75. anyone know something about this.

Code 75 is a transmission system voltage code. Usually sets this if it reads a low voltage at the tranny. The PCM probably detected an incorrect shift pattern would be my guess for the code 75. Did it store any other codes? How is the battery? Alternator? Is the problem with the headlights, etc repeatable or are they intermittent?

75 was the only code that came up. about the headlights, they go out when the ses light is on which comes on mainly when the engine is idling. i did have to charge up the battery. as long as i was on the hiway it ran ok........thanks for the reply. sounds like i need to check the battery and alternator.
