I'm guessing the TCC switch or the TCC isn't releasing. The TCC not releasing is like stopping a stick-shift without pressing the clutch. Also, how old is the battery? I've heard a dying battery will cause similar symptoms. Are the O2 sensors original? They may be REALLY lazy and causing this, though if they're that bad they'd be throwing a code...

I may be wrong but I am think a fuel problem here or possible ignition problem depending on how it stalls (if it starves out or surges and stalls it is most likely fuel, if it cuts dead off like a light switch then you are looking at a ignition issue is my guess anyway)
