They fit pretty good (see the "New Shoes" folder for some pics of the clearancing I've done so far). Still some slight rubbing with the wheel cut all the way while hitting a bump (like my driveway...very steep), I may have to get a little more aggressive with my front wheel well mods. I've trimmed the corners off the air dam, but the tires are a little closer than I would like to the bumper so I may be looking into nipping the corners off the bumper or moving it forward half an inch or so.

I've ordered a set of 1" Zero rate add a leaves for the back (I like the rear about 2" higher than the front) as well as ORD's U-bolt flip kit...

I need to have an alignment done but I'm trying to decide if I want to install "green keys", I have enough adjustment with my stock keys so far, but I'm worried that if I install something heavy in front (ie Ranchhand bumper / Winch) I won't have enough adjustment, guess I'll jump off that bridge when I get there (just don't wanna pay for 2 alignments)

Next on the list is a set of shocks....any suggestions?

Wow, your truck looks sweet man. Another truck like mine! Except I have the 6.0L. Love that color though. The H2 rims and the new shoes look really good on your truck. :banghead:

As far as shocks go, i put a set of Edelbrock on my truck and they were a huge improvement over the factory shocks. Other shock options would be Bilstein's or Rancho's. :)

midnight8100,

I was beginning to think I was the only one with a 8.1/6-spd combo. Did you special order yours or just happen to find one on a lot?

Those tires are the exact ones I wanted to mount on my H2 wheels. Looks great on your ride, I'm just worried that they won't fit as well on my '03 as I've heard that the clearance is less.

Anyway, looks awesome, great job.

Thanx for the comments guys!

Hullie: I bought the truck used last summer off a lot in Nebraska. It was originally a Denver truck (they still like manual trannys in the mountains). I'm pretty sure the 305/70-17 MT/R's would fit on your truck with H2 wheels -- I've seen '03-'04s with H2 wheels and 315/70-17 BFGs with the same clearancing work I had to do.
