I didn't realize I was this retarded. Input pleas

I got my gap guards and just kind of held the rear guard up and it doesn't look like it will fit very well. The instructions are kind of lacking(I know its not rocket science). I have a 2000, GMC X-cab w/ a short bed. Anyone have close up pictures of their trucks with the gap guards in place? Mine seem too long. I double checked the part number it is correct.

I think Mountaineer Tom has them. I never got them for mine. Maybe some day. Just didn't feel like spending a hundred dollars on them.

The back ones are long. If you look at his picture they actually wrap like a "U", so they start at the inside fender then goes towards the bed rail, alonf the bed rail toward the back then bend again and goes back out to the inside of the fender.

Take a look at the picture, a lot easier to understand.
