You could "chip" it and add a Flowmaster or something like it to it. Most of the major limitations are internal (manifold and head design)

Yup, go have the heads ported and polished, then open up the exhaust. Then go get yourself a custom tune to take advantage of all that extra air.

 

Or you could just go forced induction if you have the cabbage.

What would the CHIP & exhaust give me & how much for the chip? Can I install the chip myself?
