fog lamps

Recommended Posts

Would like to install fog lights on my 2003 chevy trail blazer. There is a fuse labled fog lights in box under hood. Ok, I know I am not too smart, but how do I find the hot wire for this fuse to connect fog lights? Thanks

The easiest way to find the hot side of a fuse is to take a lightbulb with a wire attached to each side. Ground one of the wires to the frame and touch the other wire to each side of the fuse leads. When the bulb lights up, you've found the hot side.

Hope that helps?

That sounds about right.

A little off topic but one of my fog lamps fell off my silverado while on a trail and I had to replace it. Pissed me off though, $80+ for ONE LAMP ordered from GM, they were going to charge me almost 100 for "installation". There were two (2) screws. TWO!! The stuff dealers get away with.
