Headers??

Has anyone put headers on there 6.0? Should I do that before I buy a westers or wont it matter?

They should help some, I would get some short ones the retain stock exhaust piping from manifolds. I would install a flow master of the like too if you install headers.

You probably should pick and install your headers first so that you can tell Lyndon what you have and he can tune your PCM for it. If not you may need an update tune and that will cost you $45 S&H I think plus the return of your PCM core.

 

Some of the headers people seem to mention often are ASM, TOG, Dynatec and Thorleys although there are some others. Long or mid legth headers provide more HP and retain more low end torque according to most people who post about them. They do require more work to install and some exhaust system fabrication.

 

Does anyone happen to have any Dyno run or 1/4 mile time comparisons for headers on a 6.0 that they would be willing to share? :seeya:
