95 sierra 2wd trans slipping

I just bought this truck last night. it drove fine on test drive, but on way home i got on highway and when got up to about 70 mph it felt like it was slipping out of gear, or trying to downshift?? also did it at lower speeds going up hill. SOMEONE PLEASE GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK!!!!! My stomach is in knots, and I'm about to go kill this guy.

I don't even know what kind of transmission is in this thing.

Wish it was under better circumstances

Check the RPO list on the sticker in the glovebox and you should be able to match it to one of these RPO LIST Its a w-body site but it has a really good list of all GM RPO codes....

This may be a dumb question...but did you check the fluid level? Color of the fluid?

Does it smell BURNT?...just a start

dreve the truck around on friday and the problem doesn't seem to be with the transmission. possibly injectors? feels like a sputter?? i'm gonna try a tune up, and someone suggested having the injectors cleaned.
