Wester PCM and remote start

I have a 03' Silverado with the Viper 791XV(remotes start/alarm) and I'm waiting on my PCM from Lyndon! I have a passlock bypass(DEI-555L) that was installed with the VIPER. The guys who installed my VIPER said i shouldnt have any problems but on ls1tech a guy with a similar alarm but a few years older truck had to remove his passlock bypass module and then it would crank(nelson tune). Lyndon said that no matter what that my truck should crank and that it may or may not affect the remote start! Does anyone hav ethis combo or have any knowledge on this! Also say it wont crank with the new PCM doesnt that mean hen i put my stock one back in that it wouldnt crank? I have a shutoff switch under my dash for the remote start also!!!

lyndon turns off the vats i believe so you will not have a prob. i had my vats turned on in the new pcm and that is when it would not communicate. if you do have a prob just have the bypass module disconnected and do the relearn and then have it hooked back up.

Well i gotta go to the alarm shop anyways cuz I forgot about my (2) back up battery/sirens and i dont know how to dissconect those so im gonna get them to disconnect my passlock bypass(DEI-555L) while im there just in case! My package jsut passed customs so hopefully Wednsday Ill be sqaulling tires!!!!

man all they have to do is remove a wire from the relay set and splice two wires together.

Well there gonna do whatever Moday morning and when I get back I'm gonna install the new tune! Its scheduled to deliver Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
