Well it is about 5 cents more then Regular Unleaded here in Oregon... Paid 2.19 for diesel tonight.

Yeah, I was noticing that while filling gas into my car....20 cents cheaper in central MN. I have this bad feeling that they'll jack that up soon as well just in spite.

You can bet it will go up and at the rate things are going who knows when it will come down. The price of diesel and regular fuels are high enough across the country to affect the cost of other goods and services. Either way you look at it fuel in general is to darn expensive....

I guess I win, at least 2.29 in the Bay Area, CA. Its usually less than regular, now, some places have it for more than Premium.

I noticed diesel fuel was at $1.579 at exit 80 on I-55 in MO the other day. Up the road at exit 129 on the same highway the gas was at $2.029.(premium fuel)

With only 6300 miles on my HD thus far, it still wouldn't have justified the extra expense of the Dmax. I would have enjoyed getting the Dmax, but it wouldn't have been financially feasible in my case.

I also don't believe the fuel prices will stay this high much longer. It is just a result of our activities in Iraq. During the '91 gulf war an "intellect" that I was in contact with at the time, said that "gas would never be under a dollar a gallon ever again, period, never". Much to his dismay, the fuel prices plummeted that following summer. And it wasn't until 6~7 years later that the prices got back up over a dollar, in my area at least.
