Lift is ordered

Well, I finally ordered a lift for my truck. I went with the Rancho...I found this forum a couple of weeks ago and decided I've neglected my truck for far too long. This is a great forum which helped me make up my mind on the lift. I've spent most of my time and money on the TA and told the wife, it's time for a lift and some TLC for the truck. I'm currently serving a tour in the middle east region and won't make it home till the end of may. I will be on leave for a couple of weeks and will hopefully get the lift kit on. I read over the installation instructions and it appears pretty easy. I just need to pick up some specialty tools. One question not pertaining to the lift, my truck is two-tone, dark grey over black and was wondering if anybody else has these colors? In five years, I've seen one other truck (2 wheel drive) the same color. Is it a rare color option? thanks...

I've seen a couple of trucks in the Houston area that have that color scheme and it is definitely sharp.

Thanks Frank S, who knows you might have seen mine in Houston. My inlaws live just south of Humble on 59. We take my truck there about once a month.

It's possible but I don't get out that way too much.I live and work on the southeast side and most of my time is spent in that same area when away from work.

Yes, show some pictures when completed. As for the truck colors there is one in my area too.

 

P.S. how long was your tour?

I'm here for a year. I arrived in Jan and will be home on leave at the end of the month. Hopefully the wife will give me the time to put the lift on...if not, she can bring it somewhere to have it done after I leave.
