Tom:

A'm I right to assume that you will be needing the stock tunner after we have installed the modded one? My Truck still has worrinty. Will a wester void that, and what if I take it in for ?? and they notice there's something different, can they change the modded settings. I have a 2002 crew cab 4x4,stock 6.0. I'm thinking of the westers 89-93 tunner.

You can keep your stock computer and pay the core charge or send it in after you do the swap (most people go this route). The dealer usually can't tell that the programming has been upgraded but Westers will replace it if it gets "lost".
