Bug/Rock Deflector

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for a bug/rock deflector for a 2002 2500HD. I want something that's not to noticible and really fits the contours of the hood. The last bug deflector I really paid attention to was the one that was on my blazer when I bought it...It was red, and went straight up from the hood...So I'm sure they're a little more modern now. Anyway I waxed my truck today(pics to come soon) and I noticed the front of the hood is all sorts of dinged up from rocks and other crap, so I figure I'll invest in one. What do ya'll recommend?

thanks

I have a Auto ventshade Bug Flector II on the 94. It attached with 2 sided tape and optional screws. I used the screws to be safe, but my friend has had just tape on his '95 since he bought the truck. It had been there a while before he bought it 2 years ago, still holds strong.

Ever think about using the 3M clear tape? I have it on the front end of my Tahoe and its great...no rock chips and you cant even see it....>Covered my painted bumper(Z71) mirror caps and leading edge of my wheel flares....

When you wax you might get a small line of wax on the seam of the tape....you then take a q-tip dipped in water and run it on the seem and it completely removes the line...you wax over the tape and you can barely see it...my truck is Pewter.... This stuff is awesome
