Ordered my Magnacharger Radix yesterday!

Ordered:

1 Magnacharger Radix Supercharger

1 Boost gauge w/ mounting pod

1 Magnaflow Cat-Back exhaust

I couldn't have ordered the Radix from a more professional and all around nice guy in Brian over at Project R. I highly recommend you give him a call to see if he can take care of your performance needs. He took all the time I could ask for, answered all my questions, was never pushy, and helped me to make the right choice. Plus he's a d**n cool guy to boot.

I can hardly wait to get this all installed!

I am interested in going with the RADIX. Please let us know how the install goes because I would also be installing it myself.

Is your truck a 6.0 or 5.3

I won't be installing it until the weekend of May 15th due to work and such.

But I'll keep you posted, no problem.

I need to schedule some baseline dyno runs sometime next week

that will be my starting point.

May want to go ahead and put on a set of edelbrock ceramic coated headers while you are doing the swap and everything is out of the way. Thats what one of my friends did and wouldn't have done it any other way. You can get them from summitracing.com for about 315 dollars including shipping.

If you use the foam sound deadening stuff that comes wth the kit, BE SURE TO GIVE IT AT LAST 24 HOURS TO SET or it will be sucked into your air box and filter.

Folks:

As I understand it, there MAY be some resonance in the right fender, so they provide this stuff to stop it. Personally, I would not use it until after you drive ita while; you may not need it.

Check out the installation instructions posted on their site.

Congrats on the new mods. You should be adding quite a bit of power to your truck. Maybe one day I will be able to put a Radix on my 6.0L 2500HD. I have heard great things about the Magnacharger. It would be great to have the extra power for towing and just in general. More power is always good. Enjoy...
