Mother-in-law's new Ride

Recommended Posts

I don't know how long I'm going to be able to stand my Mother-in-law having bigger BFGs than me.

Two jacks, four jackstands, a couple of buddies, and about 10 minutes.....That's all you need to remedy the deficiency.

You do have the same bolt pattern after all, don't you?

Yeah, but then I wouldn't look as cool when I'm cruising it around the beach this summer! I have given some serious thought to getting my own set of 315s.......I just don't know how bad it'd affect my MPG....

99silveradoz71 - they haven't done anything special in it yet, but they will use it this summer to pull their 25' MAKO to and from the coast.

LMAO......an H2.......my sister has one, but she won't drive on the beach with me, she's afraid she'll get stuck, and I'll take pics of me pulling her out.

The way I look at it, you an put the word "Hummer" on every square inch of the SOB, but it's still an overpriced suburban.

Techinically isn't it an over-priced Tahoe.

speaking of getting stuck, while at the ski lodge last year, we have a big field where everybody races. The snow was about 4 foot deep. This H2 decides to come on out and I said watch this, this idiot is about to get stuck..........well he did. Then his buddy in his H2 came to the rescue and also got stuck. So we pulled up and asked them what were they thinking? The one guy said "Well the commercial shows the H2 on snow" I said yes it does, but about 2" over ice, not 4 foot of powder......................a GMC tow truck pulled them both out. I said, look at your ground clearance, with that differential you only have the ground clearance of a normal truck. If you look at a real hummer then you would see some ground clearance. The original hummer would have made it no problem.........these guys were pretty upset that their H2's would not go everywhere................!!!
