Water Pump or Fan Clutch

First time to post here and any help would be appreciated...

 

I have a 4.3L GMC C1500 and it looks like the water pump may be going out. It looks like the fan is spinning off-center. It just started to making a really bad knocking noise so I asked someone at a shop and he was saying the noise was caused by a bad fan clutch...is this possilbe?

 

Should I go ahead and just install a new fan clutch and water pump or just start with replacing the fan clutch and see if the knocking stops. My biggest concern is breaking a brand new fan clutch when I place it onto a water pump that's rotating incorrectly...

When the fan clutch ges like that, typically the water pump gets eaten also (uses the same shaft). I would replace both.

I'm about to replace both and might as well install flex fan at the same time...
