1> what would look better body lift 4 in or suspension lift 6 in?

2> would it be better to do it my self or have someone else do it?

3> whats the deal with tires....if i get a 6 in suspension i think ill put 36x14.50x15 think that is possible?

1- Suspension lift is much more useful, and looks quite a bit better, but costs 10 times as much as a body lift. It really depends on what you like, and what kinds of driving conditions you are going to subject it to.

2- Depends on your mechanical ability, and which type of lift you are installing/having installed.

3- 36's might fit with a 6" suspension lift, but I think you might need a body lift to make them go....There are people on here with a TON more knowledge in this area than me, hopefully they will chime in on this one.

4- Don't shop in the ghetto, and you won't get ghetto wheels.

Hey there Koelzer18, I have a 95' Reg cab sidestep and I'm thinking of the same thing sort of.

1) I heard that 3" is the safe max for body lift. Perhaps a 3" body + t-bar cranked? That's why I'm gonna go for the sus lift. Rancho 4".

2) I'm going to try and do it myself. In my garage with no air tools. Just jacks and wrenches. Wish me luck. I think the hardest part for me will be the brake line re-assembly.

3) A very popular combination that I have seen is a 6" sus lift with 35" tires.

4) Sorry, can't help. I like the stock rims, that and no money is why I haven't gone down that road.

Good luck with whatever you do and be sure to post some pics of before and after. Thanks. :)
