best way for oil change?

Recommended Posts

Upon changing oil and filter, is it better to crank the engine over without starting it until oil pressure builds up somewhat then start it up or just start it up. If so what fuse or fuses would I have to pull to do this 96 or newer chevy, and will this activate the service engine soon light. Thanks for any info

Don't bother. The 6.0L in my wifes ride is oriented vertically, this allows me to fill the filter prior to installing. If yours doesn't don't waste the time and effort, buy som synthetic and be done with it. :loser:
