Will 18 or 20 inch wheels hurt anything on my new

Hi this is my first post, i have a new 2004 Chev Duramax longbox i was wondering if it is ok to put 18 or 20 inch wheels on it? the dealer told me not to, that they will not cover anything on the drive train if i alter anything, then he said you can buy Chevy's new 20 wheels, but they do not have them in a eight bolt pattern, i really hate the look of those 16's

you can def get 18's or 20's for that rig. they are probably are recomened not to due to the load capacity of larger wheels not being able to handle the weight. as long as you can find a tire with the right load range you are fine

I have 18 inch on my 03 GMC CC SB 4x4. The wheels are 18x9.5 and the tires are 325/60/18 Toyo Open Country A/T. The tire will rub the sway bar barely if I turn the wheels all the way to the lock position. They do look good.

These are 22X10 on my HD, with 305/45/22 tires. no issues. no rubbing.
