TOG's..Don't buy them!!!

I will never get another set of TOG's for any vechicle I ever own.

I purchased a set of ceramic coated for my 02 AV 8.1 several weeks ago. My installer called me and said 1 of the headers had a bad flare and the gasket would not fit properly nor were the pipes they sent right.

They tried several times to contact TOG to no avail, so they cut the pipes and just bolted up the pipes with the gasket best they could. They did a good job, but the gasket leaked.

After several attempts I contacted Jon at TOG and told him of the problem His first reaction was that the installer did something wrong as they have never had any issues with their headers. Reluctantly he finally called my installer and agreed the header was indeed defective and that he would send out another header.

The header came in, not a ceramic coated header which is chrome looking, but a titanium header which looks like it has primer paint on it, not what I bought.

Jon told me they no longer make ceramic headers and this is all they had, so he had to send a set. The new set came, my installer began installing and found the header on the right side didn't have a port for the ERG sensor. Well another phone call to Jon who is mad because of all the money he is losing on shipping the WRONG HEADERS.

Finally I got the right set, which they painted silver with high heat paint. Doesn't look to bad, but is NOT WHAT I BOUGHT!!! ($825.00)

The only good thing about this is the new Magnaflow muffler with 3 in 3 out, stainless steel pipes, and stainless steel Magnaflow tips. It sounds Awsome!

So in short BEWARE of TOG.

Wow, sorry to here about your problems, have had mine for about 2 years now and cannot say a bad thing about them or their customer service.

Wanna buy mine?? I found out today if I have them removed AGAIN, I can take them to a shop in town and for $200 have them ceramic coated, just like I thought I was buying.
