Hey, i got a 1992 Chevy 1500 4x4 with the 5.7 and I am lookin to put a cat-back on it. Anyone got any suggestoins/reccomendations?

I went with the Flomaster cat-back on my 92, and it sounds great.

 

I do get drone around 1800-2000 rpm, but I expected that, as I dumped the exaust over the back axle, and not out the sides or rear. I can live with it resonating a little, just for the good sound.

 

Of course, I don't drive it all that often either.

are you using just a turn down or is it the flowmast kit that has the single 3" diameter cat-back that exits in the stock location?

The're turned down...And up by the body work....Kind of hidden.

Found a couple more. Less quality (old camera) but better shots. Sorry, they aren't better shots of the back. I have pics specifically of the exhaust at home, if you want, I can post them later on (probably 1am CST or so).

 

 

 

 

As for part numbers, I have no idea. It's been too long.

 

I'll check the receipt when I get home, but I doubt it says on it.
