A quick rundown on the truck -

The front was raised with a 6.5" Full Throttle lift, GM's "green keys" and the torsion bars were cranked up to get a total front lift of about 8.5" The rear was lifted with a set of 4" Deaver springs and a 2.5" block. 37x13.5/17 ProComp Xterrain tires are wrapped around 17x8.5" Weld Evo Renegade XT wheels. A set of Westin step bars make it easier to get in, a PIAA airdam has a set of their 40 series driving lights and Stage I HID low beams annoy drivers coming towards me :loser:

Performance mods include a Volant induction, ported throttlebody, Poweraid throttlebody spacer, The Other Guys mid-length headers, Direct Hits Ignition. Comp Cam, Flex-a-lite electric fans and Westers'custom programming. A set of 4.56 gears will be going in next week and I'll either be going with a Paxton supercharger or set of the upcoming 8.1 aluminum heads with an upgraded intake.

The Xterrain tires have a noticeable difference in the ride compared to the Nittos that they replaced. Not bad, but I can feel the thread blocks at slow speeds. They also make a little noise but it's something that I can live with.

Thanks guys! I was looking through some old pics tonight. Big difference between stock and then through the 3 sets of wheel/tires that it's had. The door and tailgate handles are from a Silverado SS. They were all painted to match.

Tom, me too, I was looking at the picture the dealership took of me the day I bought it. Pretty dang sad looking truck when it's stock. (sorry stock truck owners!!) and just the jump from 35x12.50 to 36 14.50 made a pretty big difference, not to mention the jump from 245's!!! :jester: Next I will try to fit that 37 on!!!

Very tough looking! I think 37's are about the ideal size for a 2500HD. I'd love to put a lift and set of 37-12.5-17 GoodYear Wrangler MT/R's on my 2500HD one day, but I'd need a bigger garage door first!

Have you thought of doing a solid front axle swap. I think a Dynatrac Pro Rock 60 front axle (perhaps along with a Atlas x-fer case) would make a great truck -- well perfect? Do you plan to do much offroading or do you just like the way the traffic gets outta your way? (I find that I get cut off less with that power bulge hood leading the way, a set of monster truck tires should seal the deal)
