Corvette Servo

Recommended Posts

I ordered mine last week and got it friday, and installed it tonight.

When I floored it before it would slip like a mofo going into 2nd ( I was told that the 4.3 trans would not be able to "grab" the power made by the 350 at above 3/4 throttle during shifts), now, wow man its like a new tranny, BOOM, the shift is crisp and NO slip or jerk, as soon as it hits second with it floored it puts my head right into the head rest, I have never felt that much acceleration in a truck ever, its wicked.

Does anyone know if these shift servos will work in the 4l85e (4l80e)? I would like to start beefing up my tranny to complement the stuff I have dove to the engine. How hard are the shift servos to install? Thanks

What motor do you have?

The 4l80's are really strong transmissions, plus the servos don't "beef up" anything, they just allow for a quicker, firmer, and stronger shift. They take only like 10 minutes to install if you have done it before, allow an hour for virgins. The servos from the 4l60-e/700r4 arn't compatible to my knowledge to a 4l80-e, but that dosen't mean that there isn't one out there.
