new truck owner

Hi!

I just registered as a brand new truck owner and it's not even in my garage yet!

I recently bought a 1976 Chevy Suburban V8 350 in Phoenix, Arizona, at a car dealer specialized in Suburban.

It still has to be shipped to Europe, although they state it is in a very good condition (absolutely rust free) I asked them to check and double check if anything should be repaired/upgraded before shipment.

Parts are expensive and poorly available here or when ordered in the States would cost a ton on shipping (read: heavy parts).

 

Exciting!! can't wait till it gets here!

It's my first time importing a car and man does a lot of things have to be taken care of!

Getting from Rotterdam to my town (big car for European standards!)

Small upgrades to European standards

Inspection for a new title

and so on and so on....

 

One question I'd like to launch at you guys (and girls?) is the following:

 

I want to repaint it to the original color, it was repainted white, which can still be seen in the interior.

The seller calls it SEA FOAM GREEN, it's a very light green color.

I can't seem to find any info on the web, or I'm looking in the wrong places.
