8.1Texan
i took my truck to a local place to get the oil changed and they told me my clutch fluid was very low. so, 3 questions: 1. shouldn't i have noticed a difference in the driving, how would low clutch fluid effect things? 2. what would have caused this? 3. any recommendationos for a replacement fluid? Scoutframe
1. You would not notice the low fluid until the fluid is low enough that you suck air (similar to your brakes). Then you would not be able to disengage the clutch. 2. The ONLY thing that can cause low fluid is a leak. As your clutch disks wear, the fluid level will increase. 3. The clutch system uses conventional brake fluid.

redvett
I will tell you from experience the Corvette people me included have found out that there is a big difference between brake fluid and hydraulic clutch fluid. Using brake fluid will seriously degrade the system. Use the OEM fluid its P/N # 12345347
