T1XX Torsion Bar Question

I should've crawled under by brother's truck when he was here to see what bars were in his 2024 2500HD (Dmax & VYU).

I'm sure mine are the 'lightest' for the 2500s. I seem to recall in the past that Z71s & VYU equipped trucks used the same torsion bars. I can't say how diesel equipped trucks were built. I think the GMT400 diesels had their specific torsion bars. When I went back to the Truck Plant in 1997, we weren't building any diesels.

 

Strange that only the LH bar has an L in the broadcast code. I think in the past they were like, RAA & LAA, RXX & LXX, etc.

My 2024 Denali Gas have the exact same numbers.

 

I wouldn't want any heavier. Not that a Denali would ever come with a snow package, but if I had that package, the torsion bars would be the first things I would change out.
