Yes. But you may find on an older high mileage engine, a "heavier weight" oil might be better as far as oil consumption. you might be better off with a 15w-40 or similar.

 

Can't really go wrong with any major oil today. They all perform well. It comes down more to consumption, if any, to decide viscosity.
