Signature Series 0W-20, 5W-20 and 5W-30 Motor Oil viscosities are now available in 16-oz. (473 ml) bottles for customers who purchase an oil-change kit using the “Shop by Vehicle” function at AMSOIL.com/.ca.

Customers can choose the half-quart bottle if they have a sump capacity that requires a partial quart, e.g., 5.5 or 5.3 quarts. This option helps customers save money and reduce waste. It also adds convenience by providing a more precise volume of oil where appropriate.

Use the look-up guide to see what oil change kits are offered for your vehicles.

We’ve switched over to almost all Amsoil lubes for our HD roads graders dozer and loader fleet. Couldn’t be happier. Saving millions in repairs over a few years I’m betting on.

Don't get me wrong Amsoil is great stuff.

But just changing your oil at the regular intervals and not with what the computer oil life monitor says is what will save a ton on repairs imo. I watch several youtubers who are shop owners and it is like a broken record of how many people trash their vehicles listening to what these dumb oil life monitor tells them. Those engines are full of sludge 99% of the time, imo going back to a 3k oil change interval is smart and cheap insurance when it comes to the cost of rebuilding or replacing engines today.

What convinced me about Amsoil decades ago was our use with high pressure hydraulics. You blow a pressure hose your pump was toast with cavitation. Thousands of dollars to replace the pump and down time. Amsoil eliminated that problem. Next was with a regular C-6 Ford automatic. Pulling a fifth wheel the transmission was toast at 100K miles. Adding Amsoil after an additional 180K miles the transmission was still going. Even though we added a banks turbo. With our heavy equipment we doubled the hours between oil changes. Eliminating oil disposal and more personal time while not doing oil changes. My work and personal vehicles went extended giving me more time on weekends for personal time. Oil pressure stayed steady longer and heat was down with our ROW equipment. Needing less time for blowing out the radiator to lower temperature. Allowing more straight billable time needed less time on the job for maintenance. More time at home. I didn’t change oil for fun. Anything that gave me more personal time for family I was for. Switching to Amsoil did that. Retired I changed my oil more often simply because I don’t drive 50K plus miles a year anymore. And time is my friend now. I don’t have to count every minute. People who work where I used to use Amsoil drive the miles I used to. They extend even with the latest Frankenstein engines or turbo engines. Maybe not 25K miles I did with the basic pre cylinder deactivation engines. But extending past what many would suggest here. It comes down to duty cycle. I used to start my engine in the morning drive hundreds of miles. Not shut off until it arrived at home or motel. Equipment started in the morning running near maximum RPM 8-12 hours only idle at lunch. It’s not one size fits all.

Any idea if the .5 qt option will be available outside of the oil change kits in the future?

No information on when it might be available individually. Once sales start and enough demand I’m sure they will be available.
