Yes, a special tool that the dealers posses can be attached to that to then safely allow the truck to temporarily be placed into neutral to push it.  

 

No...you shouldn't just try and pop a wrench on there while underneath the truck as you could have it roll and injure you.

If you feel like spending $300 for the tool from Freedom Racing, you can but its out of stock... DT-52910 Manual Park Release Tool

Thanks. Have seen that tool before. Makes it easier for sure. But, after 25 years in auto tech, I think I can cheat this thing to roll to a good space without getting crushed.

 

One could pull the drive shaft also for a tow. Would have to plug the output shaft.

 

Didn`t know the MHS version had that shaft. Good to know.
