Intake Manifold Question???

I'm new to Trucks, but am pretty familiar with the LS1's (Vette and Camaro) My question is, would the LS1 intake manifold fit a 4.8L Tahoe? I found a couple of threads asking about this but none of them got any answers...thanks!

I dont believe it will. The 4.8 isnt entirely like the 5.3 is it? I dont know, my memory might have to refreshed.

from what i can tell the 6.0, 5,3 and the 4.8 all co-mingle and play nice together. You should be ok to switch around.

Yes all ls1 based engines have interchangeable parts, so an intake manifold from one with fit any other engine. But if you put an ls1 intake on a truck type engine it will interfer with the engine accessories. The ls1 manifold is 3 or 4 inches shorter than the truck manifold. Otherwise, technically yes it would fit, but everything would be in the way of the throttle body, etc.
