Chevy Silverado 2500HD Rotor Suggestions?

Recommended Posts

AC Delco rotors are not badly priced from most dealer parts departments and or from online retailers like Rockauto.

Otherwise my suggestion is the Fleet rotors from Napa or the Adaptive One rotors from Napa. Both are very high quality. You'll have to check to see what your local prices are for them.

Drilled and slotted rotors are good for breaks that are abused and you need help to keep them cool. But they are louder under breaking and will chew up brake pads faster. Also drilled rotors are prone to cracks around the holes. Slotted rotors are better if you don't want to deal with cracks in the future.

No matter what you'll probably be in it for like $300-400 for good quality pads and rotors with tax on a heavy duty truck like that.

What's the outer diameter of the whole front rotor?
You should measure it before purchase.Otherwise it don't fit and waste your time as well as money. The design of slot work can sweep away gas and dust which come through braking. You can feel better in rainy climates. And the brake rotor kit like Detroit Axle or A-Premium on Amazon is over than $300. If you don't want to spend much money. Why not try Hexautoparts Brakes Rotors? It's not a big brand name but very nice and quality of items is far superior to what You have gotten from the big, boxed auto part chain stores.
