Question for those who installed drain plug in trans pan

I have a question for those who installed a drain plug in transmission pan... about how much fluid drained out? I am about to do my first refill and don't want to buy more than I may need.

 Thanks, I forgot to state I had the 6L80 in my 18. I have been hauling a dump trailer for the last 2 weeks and finished yesterday with a load to the dump of 9,240 LBs. I worked my Bowtie so time for freash fluids!
