L8T dead on the highway 92k miles

Replacement part quality has been bad for a while and is worse lately, even if you buy name brand stuff its still a crap shoot.   The only thing worse is the antique/collector car parts.

64, yes, it was the replacement pump. The pump itself did not fail but the electronic side of it, the regulator I'm told, decided to stop functioning, resulting in lost power to one Bank of cylinders. At least no injectors had to be re-done this time.

 

Replaced hpfp again with GM part, have truck back, so far 150 miles no issue. Once again taking it on a road trip tomorrow, making sure I have my AAA account setup today. Plan for the worst hope for the best.
