Painted Door Handles

I have an 04 Crew Cab and am looking to get the painted door handles for it. Can the smooth handles, i.e. what's on Tahoes and Suburbans be ordered from GM already painted? Also, how hard are they to install?

yes they can be ordered pre painted and they are very easy to install....probably 30 min to do all if I remember correctly

got the tahoe handles for my truck also makes the truck look clean my truck had the painted trim and fender flaires to match the truck dont know why they dont put macthing handles on to

Thanks, so what all is involved in installing, assume you have to pull the interior door panels, any special tools etc. required? Thanks!

Here are some part numbers for you. I just heard though that these are no longer available painted. They are supposed to be a ready to paint black gel coat style finish. Typical GM stuff. Just a year ago these handles were $23 ea painted then GM realized that everyone was swapping them so they almost doubled the price to $45 ea about 5-6 months ago. Now they decide to charge you the same $45 ea but you still have to paint them. I'm not 100% sure you can't get them now but have just heard that several people have tried in the past couple weeks and they are no longer available. Here is my list of PN's:

you have to remove the door panel, in the top right corner with the door open on driver side theres a panel thats directly behind the mirror that snaps off and one scew behind armrest and a screw in the map pocket take those out and the panel lifts up doesnt have the popcorn clips on these,probably have to unplug your window switch harness real simple just take your time and have someone help hold the panel for you iam not sure what the part # is but i just recently ordered mine about 7 weeks ago and got mine in white i told them i needed them for a tahoe cost was around 34.00 each got my freinds discount he,s a mechanic and body man was going to sand and paint mine but for that price theres no way

Got these part numbers from GMpartsDirect for pre-painted white ones...about $25 a piece before SH....Do these look right and does the cost sound about right? These were based upon an 04 Denali VIN, any differences in the handles between a Yukon and Sierra?

Plunds, Those #'s you have are right. You also have the correct # for the front pass. door as it doesn't have a key hole(2004). The handles look great I also have a 04 White 2500hd D/A CC. I have also painted my tailgate bezel and handle. I ordered the one for a black Serria Denali thinking it would be slick finish? ITS NOT!!! If you are interested in doing the tailgate just sand the bezel and handle on your truck smooth and they paint up fine. Used Duplicolor paint. Door panels remove very easy, as stated above. 1 screw @ armrest/pull handle, and mine has a screw on bottom of the panel (underside of map pocket). Only had to unplug the red/white light on door panel.
