Anyone have Pro Comp Shocks?

Recommended Posts

Just ordered up a set of Pro Comp 9000's with an extra 2" due to the stretched stockers after in installed new keys and leveled out the truck. Anyone have any experiences with these shocks? I ended up ordering the full set from Four Wheel Parts Wholesalers, no shipping or tax this weekend. Thanks for the info if you reply.

I'd be interested, also. Read in other areas how they are really better than the adjustable Rancho 9000s, but was under the impression they are not available for the full-sized '03s? Anyone know? Is there a real difference between the '02s and and '03s???

Hi,

Pro comp makes a good shock. I don't have experience with the ones you chose but I have had pro comps and they did the job. I currently run the rancho 9000's and if the pro comps perform anything like those you'll be pleased.

First impressions, a bit tighter, as expected. The only drawback is the inability to utilize the Ride Control, which is no big deal to me anyway. They feel great on the truck, much more initial control on tighter turns, a good, cozy ride. Love em. More later. These are the 9000's

I just found the es9000's buy 3 get 1 free($34.95 ea). They had the same deal on Rancho RSX's($45.00 ea)

They were at summittruckstyle.com(enter es9000 in the search area, otherwise they are hard to find). They also had a body lift kit by them, it looked just like the PA version but it was $210.00 - pretty good compared to $250-$275 everywhere else. Has anyone ever installed one of their kits?
