24 RST 5.3 10sp

got mine when they released and installed it. No start situation and tons of codes. Removed and reinstalled 4 times, same thing. They said they were sending me a new one. Got the next one, same issue.  Sending both back to them now.

Without it, trucks running as it should be, and after a couple drives the engine light is off.

No idea the issue but I sent them all info I could read from the truck with a scanner. We will see what happens!

Vin 12th digit is 1.

Mine is out for delivery today. Same 12th digit VIN. Will report back after install/testing..

Ordered mine on Thursday! I have been waiting a long time for this module.

Jon,  did you receive & get this installed?  Inquiring minds are wanting to know. 😀

Steve I did receive it but did not install it yet pending oil change and rotate on Monday. I do not want to get caught using this mod in case of warranty implications. I will install it after the service on Monday and report back to you guys ASAP.

I am not concerned about functionality because I will return it to Range if I have any problems with it.

Quick update, installation was smooth. I do not have a lift on my truck, so I removed half of the t15 screws to move the liner just enough to work in.

Took a quick drive into town and can confirm all is running as expected. One thing I did notice, the auto stop/start green light did not appear at all, which I thought would.

Good to hear!

Has anyone that's installed this unit experienced the DFM kicking in at slow speeds with 0 throttle applied? I ordered one before I was aware of that, and I'm skeptical about using it if it will be a common occurence. Don't have it yet, it's being shipped so I'm hoping to hear from others of their experience before I get tempted to put it in. Except for the 35 miles my truck had on it before I bought it, it's never been driven in Drive. I use L9 every time.

Still waiting on mine to come in. Was supposed to be here tomorrow but UPS said delay beyond their control (yeah right) Tomorrow they will blame it on the hurricane in the gulf lol.

I’ve not noticed or experienced DFM kicking in. I’ve had mine installed since Sept 20, driving daily

I still need to do the software recall for my truck. That is all through the radio correct? So the Range would never been seen or interfere?

Hello Steve. Got the DFM disabler installed and some long road tests. The auto stop/start is disabled. (No more pushing that damn button). DFM is disabled, shift into D and drive it! I may have sensed a little DFM activation above 65 mph on deceleration but I don't care. I would highly recommend to anyone who has been driving around in L9.
