Engine light comes on after I fill the truck up with gas

Hey, every time I fill my 2018 Sierra with gas at the pumps about 50-100 km after the engine light will come on saying small evap leak, I’ll clear it and it won’t come on again till I fill it up again , And I don’t have a gas cap it’s one of those easy fill ones , just was seeing if  this has happened to anyone and what’s a solution

I don't have a solution for you but would suggest you try doing a smoke test to see where your vacuum leak is in the evaporator system. In NC it would fail our emissions inspection.

Probably have to replace the filler neck piece for the capless system, or take it apart and clean it real good. Likely not sealing correctly have the gas nozzle is removed. That's my guess on it.

Are you packing fuel in or do you stop once its shuts off?  If you are packing it in, that's your problem.
