Aftermarket UCA on 2.5” RC Level?

Recommended Posts

I have a 2018 Silverado 1500 that I recently bought a 2.5” leveling kit from RC. I plan on installing it towards the end of this month along with some 285/55r20 that I’m putting on my stocks. I have read mixed reviews on whether or not I would need aftermarket UCA’s. I want to know if this is something I will be needing in the future that I can put on now for preventative measures or it is something I don’t need to worry about. Thanks!

With a 2.5" level, you might want to go with an after market UCA.
However, I ran my stock UCAs until I went to a 3" lift (1.5" body lift and 1" shock lift) and bought the Motofab UCAs since my installer said he wouldn't put on a higher lift without replacing the stock UCAs.
