2013 Chevy Siverado Work truck, stuck in rich

Recommended Posts

I have a 2013 chevy silverado 4.3, cannot get all cycles to show ready.  Once it gets to Cat and Evap check engine light comes back on.  Have replaced all 4 02 sensors and the evap canister and solenoid.  Throttle body has burned oil in it and looks like inside of the manifold is cracked.  Will this cause the lights to show not ready?

Casting cracks like that is very normal to see, that's not a problem to me.

What codes are you getting?

Rich codes could be from leaking injectors or if the truck is a flex fuel truck, the alcohol composition reading could be stuck at a high value and needs to be reset back to normal.

Codes?  Did you use GM/ACDelco oxygen sensors?  2007-2013 trucks are VERY sensitive to what O2 sensors you stick in there.  Anything but OEM it will cause problems.

I believe they are Bosh.  I'll check the codes when I get back home.   Thank you

P015B

HO2S Delayed Response Lean to Rich Bank 1 Sensor 1

P2271

HO2S Signal Stuck Rich Bank 1 Sensor 2

I would get 2 OEM sensors for bank one and see if these go away.  12589321 is sensor 1 so pre cat, 12609456 is sensor 2 so post cat.
