Can you set the screen your infotainment starts on?

My infotainment screen normally starts on the map screen with a small audio screen that might be YouTube Music or Spotify. What is odd is the spotify or Youtube screen is not showing what might be playing on another source. As example it could be showing Spotify while Youtube music is actually playing.

 

I have not found an option to control where the system starts with you get in and start the vehicle. Am I missing it?

 

I would be OK with it on 2/3 map and 1/3 whatever the audio source is, but it seems dumb to me it would show one audio source paused while something else is really playing.

That I know of, the screen will start up where it left off.  So if I'm on the main home page and have the clock set on the small right hand section, that will be there every time I start up.  Right hand side will show clock, radio and maps, and if equipped trailer data.  

 

What happens if you leave the radio on the main section and start using a different source, does it still show as Spotify?

I will try shutting it off in different scenarios.  Just seems odd one source can be playing and spotify show on the 1/3 of the screen.

Mine starts where it was.

Usually this means the audio screen showing the radio station I usually listen too and the clock or the RH section.

 

Of course it can be confused if it was paired to a phone that isn't present (or has Bt and wi-fi shut off) the next time.

As I was videoing this weirdness to post here I think I realized one thing. There are two different YouTube music applications on these trucks. The one that shows up on the Chevrolet home screen which is independent of the one loaded under Android auto. So If I say Hey Google play REO Speedwagon it is using the YT app on the main GM Home Screen.    The YouTube app that shows up on 1/3 off my screen with map is the Android Auto version.
 

Have not had time to figure out the start screen yet as I am back to figuring out why the posted speed limit sign function has stopped working again.
