New to me Google maps issue 24 Sierra

Recommended Posts

The last few times I've gotten into my truck. The 1st thing in the morning. The Google map won't load the streets. It just shows the icon moving on a blank screen. Once I stop and restart the truck it will load just fine and be good the rest of the day. It just started this this week. Yes I use Carplay maps as well I just saw this as another odd thing happening.

I've had this happen a few times. I did a hard reset by holding the end call button for 10-15 seconds while in park and then re-downloaded the offline maps I had (I don't subscribe). The head unit has been pretty buggy for me, I've had to do a reset several times for this and other issues.

Mine is a 24 GMC 1500 SLT for reference.
